My Charming Farmhouse Kitchen Nook Makeover Reveal + Ideas

When I moved to my current house 2 years ago, there were lots of things that needed updating but that had major potential! In this house, there are little oddities and things that might make you go, “what was that used for?”. Its an older house so it has it’s quirks.

One thing I loved about this house was that it already had a formal dining room and such but in addition, it had a cozy breakfast nook right by the kitchen. I knew when I saw it when touring the house that it was going to be the first thing I updated.

Spring Cottage Home Tour: Spring Time Showcase

I’m so stinkin’ excited. Why you ask? It’s Spring! You know i had to take time not doing chores and decorate for the season. I decided to once again use mostly what I already had on hand (in the dusty attic) with just a few fun new things. It took me a few times to get these spaces how I had in my head but overall I’m happy with how they turned out. It definitely makes my spaces look more cheerful and has lots of color! Speaking of colors…

This post is a part of a home tour blog hop where this whole week 25 amazing ladies will show you their homes for Spring! So make sure to check out the bottom of this post and take a peek into each of our homes for fun and Spring inspiration.

I can’t wait!

Brick kitchen Update

So after we bought or house I was itching to paint. Because I mean isn’t that what we do? We envision the house as our own, how we would have it. So I slapped on some yellow paint on my kitchen to change it up without planning how I really wanted it. Well, after about three years I realized while I like yellow, I don’t want circus yellow on the walls. So I started talking to my husband about tackling it. Here’s how our brick kitchen update turned out!
